GRANTS

The Ensign PTA has successfully applied for the following grants on behalf of our teachers.  We appreciate the generosity of the organizations providing grants to support quality education in our community!

Artist in the Classroom

Ensign was the recipient of an Artist in the Classroom grant which pays for approximately 8 weeks of Amy Schelble’s K-4 music instruction. We are thankful to both the Salt Lake City Arts Council and the City Council which provides this granting program.

STEM Action Center of Utah

Alissa Kean was the recipient of a classroom grant from the STEM Action Center of Utah to support send-home STEM kits focused on next generation science standards. Students will receive kits with books, activities, and other lesson materials linked to science and engineering. 

Educator Scholarship

Katrina Stratford was the recipient of an Educator Scholarship from Mountain American Credit Union. These funds will be used to support purchases of two kindergarten workstations that will help students to have personalized work spaces and learning in the coming academic year.
