GRANTS

The Ensign PTA has successfully applied for the following grants on behalf of our school community. We appreciate the generosity of the organizations named below as well as our parent/grant-writers Megan Horner and Ashley Anderson. To support our efforts, please contact Ashley about joining the PTA's Academic Enrichment Committee!

Artist in the Classroom

Ensign has been the recipient of the Salt Lake City Art Council's Artist-in-the-Classroom grant since 2020-2021. We previously funded Amy Schelble as a K-4 music specialist and currently fund K-2 Tanner Dance.

STEM Action Center of Utah

We have received a grant from the STEM Action Center classroom grants annually since 2020-2021 to support projects including 1/2 C&A Science and Engineering Kits and our School Garden.

WholeKids Foundation

We have received two grants from the WholeKids Foundation to initiate and develop a small school garden on the east side of the school.

MACU Classroom Grant

In 2020-2021 we funded materials for a Kindergarten classroom.
